What are some of the things you like about college?​

"My favorite thing about Slo is the campus. I really like that my classes are super close to my first year dorms and

overall the campus is super navigable. Also the scenery of campus is amazing."

What are you studying/involved in?

"I am studying biomedical engineering and I am currently joining the EMPOWER club

which is a club that makes custom prosthetics."

 

What is something that surprised you about college?

"Something that surprised me about college is the difference in coursework.

During quarter 1, I may have spent more time studying than I ever did my whole high school career."

 

Doing anything fun on the weekends?

"On the weekends, me and my friends love to go downtown and grab some goof food.

I also love to hike and do some trail runs on campus."

 

What is a fun fact you have learned about your college or surrounding area?

"BEST place to eat is Firestone, they have the best tri tip sandwich ever!! Fun fact you can do the "tri trip" challenge,

where you hike 3 main peaks in slo and then run to firestone to grab a tri tip sandwich."

 

What did UniVarsity help you with most?

"UniVarsity helped the most with staying overall organized throughout my whole application experience, while also giving me friendly deadlines to complete parts of my writings. I had places for each essay and each prompt was given to me which made it super easy to work on my essays whenever I wanted. Also, after acceptances they helped with putting in transcripts, counselors, and letters of rec. I know people that had their acceptances revoked because they weren't on top of getting their transcripts in, but UniVarsity helped to make sure I was on top of everything. 10/10 would recommend."
