Tara Anderson at UCLA!
We asked some of our former students to report back about their college experience so far. Tara is our highlight for October! Here's what she has to say about her campus.
What do you like about UCLA?
"I like the freedom and independence that college provides. I also felt like I met my best friends in college because you're surrounded by like-minded people. I also love the busyness of college and how there's always something going on."
What are you majoring in?
" I am studying psychology with a minor in disability studies and am gonna pursue a minor in applied developmental psychology."
Fun fact you’ve learned about UCLA?
"One thing I learned about UCLA is our dining food really is the best, my personal favorite dining halls are bplate and the study."
What are you doing on the weekends?
"Some fun things I would do on the weekends are: go to the beach, go shopping, play beach volleyball, go to clubs, and go to college parties."
What is something that surprised you
about UCLA
"One thing that excited me about college was the many opportunities that we are given through the college in terms of jobs, internships, etc. I was also surprised to have met so many people and have some of them turn into my closest friends. Additionally, I was surprised how easy it is to get involved whether through greek life, clubs, classes, and etc."
What did UniVarsity Help You With?
"UniVarsity helped me because I was super indecisive and helped me narrow down my college choices based on what I valued most for my college experience. Due to this, I was able to discover my dream school of UCLA and got in due to their help structuring my college applications and proofreading my essays.."
